These Red Power Motors are heavy duty, totally enclosed / fan cooled(TEFC ), with a common 56C face mount and standard shaft size, powering a single gear-driven pump. Plus, these quality continious duty motors are safety-backed with fused and overload protected.

The Schweiss Red Power manifold has a clean, crisp design, featuring a polished finish, no exposed plumbing lines, and a filter drain port that allows oil to drip back into the tank, preventing the chance of unwanted and messy oil puddles in your building. Includes a filter clogging indicator telling you when to change your filter element and a filter drain port that allows oil to drain back into the tank, before removing and changing the filter element, reducing any chance of an oil mess. 3000 PSI pressure gauge is standard, gives you the reading of the pump pressure used to open the door. What's in a Little Black Pump? Not a whole lot!
You get a motor, a small toggle switch, a cheap pump and a plastic tank - and close to zero lifting power. These little black pumps are easy to identify: they're small in size, and they're equipped with a wimpy motor, a plastic oil jug, and small toggle switch/lever for pump operation. You're looking at a plain, simplelooking unit. Trust Schweiss Doors: when you see one of thse small Little Black Pumps, you'll agree - there is NOTHING to this verticle pump set up !
A Small Pump/Motor. . .
Not Professional and NOT Safe!
The competition believe that's it's fine to overload that small motor, for a short period of time.
But read the warning label! It clearly states this is neither safe, nor acceptable use!

Never Designed for Large Commercial Doors "Little Black Pump"
Those other companies are using tiny car hoist motors, never designed or intended to lift large hydraulic
doors, and are overworking those small pumps reliant on their five-minute duty motors. These small pumps
and motors are "throw away units." they won't last long. Should nver be used on large moving doors!
Poor Electrical Design - These Little Black Pumps are running high voltage through a toggle switch - The electrical system
was modified, and extremely poorly. Think about it: modifying the simple motor electrical to raise a
large door. No room to wire in multiple safety components and safety functions.
